We’ve Launched: Diffuse Retail’s National Online Occasionwear Rental Service ✨

I can’t quite believe I’m writing this, but here we are — Diffuse Retail’s online rental service is now live across the UK!


This has been a long time coming. Honestly, I was nervous to step into the rental space alongside amazing platforms like By Rotation, Hirestreet and HURR. As women, we can sometimes feel like we’re competing with each other — but I don’t see it that way. I’m inspired by the incredible women who pioneered the rental revolution in the UK, and I’m proud to join forces in making fashion rental more accessible, sustainable and fun.


Because the truth is, there’s space for all of us. And Diffuse Retail fills a much-needed gap in the market: beautiful, wearable and high-quality occasionwear for the everyday woman.

Occasionwear for All Women

Not everyone wants to rent a red-carpet designer gown. Sometimes you just want something chic, stylish and flattering for your best friend’s wedding, a big birthday, or that work party you actually want to look forward to.


That’s where we come in. At Diffuse Retail, we’ve curated a collection of occasionwear you’ll actually want to wear — pieces that feel special, modern and versatile.


And importantly, we offer the majority of our range in sizes 6–16, because style should be inclusive. You deserve to find something you love, without compromise.


How It Works

I wanted to keep our rental process as simple and stress-free as possible — because getting dressed up should feel exciting, not complicated. Here’s how it works:

  1. Browse online – Explore our range of occasionwear and find the piece that speaks to you.

  2. Select your size & dates – Choose your size, check availability, and pick your rental length (4, 10 or 18 days).

  3. Book & relax – We’ll handle the rest: inspection, a fresh steam, and packing in our gorgeous eco-friendly packaging.

  4. Delivery to your door – Your outfit arrives by the first day of your rental at the latest.

  5. Try on with confidence – You have 12 hours to try the piece at home, making sure the fit and style are just right.

  6. Enjoy your event – Be the modern-day Cinderella (minus the midnight curfew and missing shoe).

  7. Easy returns – No need to worry about cleaning. Just pop it back in the original packaging, attach the prepaid label, and drop it off by your rental end date.


That’s it. No stress, no waste, no “I’ll only wear this once” guilt. Just the joy of feeling amazing at your special occasion.


Why This Matters

Starting Diffuse Retail has been about more than clothes. As a self-confessed former shopaholic (with a wardrobe that could tell some stories…), I know how easy it is to get caught up in the cycle of buying, wearing once, and never reaching for it again.


But fashion can be different. Renting gives us the best of both worlds: the thrill of wearing something new and special, without the environmental guilt or financial sting.
